Leeds United is reportedly looking to sell Largie Ramazani this summer, with Football Insider stating the club has placed a £10 million price tag on the Belgian winger and has no plans to reintegrate him into the team at Elland Road.
Leeds United Faces Crucial Decision on Ramazani
Journalist Pete O’Rourke, on the Transfer Insider podcast, emphasized that Ramazani does not have a future under manager Daniel Farke. With Leeds United preparing for the upcoming season in the Premier League, Farke intends to sell Ramazani and reinvest during a busy summer transfer window.
At 25 years old, Ramazani went on a season-long loan to Valencia after finding first-team opportunities limited at Elland Road. Despite a tough start due to injury, he made a comeback, scoring his first goal on January 24 with a stoppage-time penalty against Espanyol, before adding five more goals across 11 La Liga appearances.
Currently, he has recorded six goals and one assist in the 2025/26 La Liga season, accounting for 19 percent of Valencia’s goals and helping earn 16 points for the team, thus turning a quiet loan into a substantial attacking contribution. Leeds United, however, did not include a permanent option in the loan deal, meaning Ramazani is set to return to West Yorkshire this summer.
Valencia would prefer to secure another loan deal, but Leeds United is advocating for a permanent sale. Nonetheless, £10 million may be too steep for Valencia at this moment, even as other clubs are likely monitoring Ramazani’s situation in Spain.
“I don’t think he has a long-term future at Elland Road right now, Largie Ramazani. He’s done quite well during his loan spell with Valencia. Since the turn of the year, he’s found his best form and fitness with six goals and two assists in 27 games.
“Valencia are keen to try and keep him, but the Spanish club would prefer another loan instead of a permanent deal, leading to potential negotiations. Leeds, on the other hand, would rather facilitate a permanent exit to recoup some funds from Ramazani.
“I don’t see how he could come back and reclaim his spot in the Leeds squad under Daniel Farke. They managed effectively with their current players this season, and Leeds is likely planning for life in the Premier League next year, looking to enhance their squad.”
