Manchester United to Unveil 2026/27 Home Kit in Final Matches of the Season

Manchester United have already secured Champions League qualification.

This was confirmed following their dramatic Liverpool/”>3-2 victory over Liverpool at Old Trafford.

Attention has now quickly turned towards the club’s preparations for the 2026/27 campaign.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United are set to debut their new 2026/27 home kit in the final two matches of this season.

Those games will be against Nottingham Forest and Brighton & Hove Albion.

On May 17, the Red Devils host Nottingham Forest before travelling to the AMEX stadium to face Brighton on May 24.

The decision follows a growing trend among top clubs across Europe.

Sides are increasingly choosing to unveil next season’s shirts before the current campaign officially concludes.

United’s new adidas home strip has already attracted attention online after leaked images surfaced last month.

Every year, the countdown to a new Manchester United home kit follows a familiar pattern, beginning with early concept leaks before authentic images eventually emerge.

Those leaks recently appeared to confirm the final design.

The new shirt is expected to take inspiration from iconic adidas and Admiral-era kits from the late 1970s, featuring a striped collar alongside black-and-white detailing throughout the design.

A special ‘UNITED’ graphic is also reportedly included on the back collar as part of the overall concept.

The Daily Mail reports that insiders believe wearing the shirt before the summer break helps generate excitement commercially ahead of the club’s pre-season tour.

It is not the first time a major club has done this.

Arsenal debuted a new kit before the end of last season, while Bayern Munich are also expected to wear their 2026/27 home shirt during their Champions League semi-final this week.

Interestingly, Casemiro is expected to feature in the new shirt despite already announcing that he will leave Manchester United at the end of the season.

The Brazilian midfielder recently confirmed his departure after four years at Old Trafford.

The upcoming matches could therefore offer supporters an early glimpse at Manchester United’s new home kit.

The club will wear it during their return to Champions League football next season.
