Al Hilal Omdurman is set to participate in a mini-tournament aimed at securing a spot in the upcoming CAF Champions League for the 2026-2027 season.
The club has not played in the Sudanese league since the onset of conflict in the country. Instead, Al Hilal Omdurman competed in the Rwandan league this season, where it emerged as the Premier League champion just days ago.
Now back in Sudan, Al Hilal will contend in the mini-tournament to determine its qualification for next season’s CAF Champions League. This tournament will be crucial for the club to secure its place in the prestigious competition.
Upon their return, members of the Al Hilal Omdurman delegation visited the site of their stadium to assess its current condition.
