Napoli is facing the prospect of losing manager Maurizio Sarri as speculation grows about his future with Lazio. According to Nicolo Schira on social media platform X, Atalanta’s management has identified the 67-year-old Sarri as the top candidate to replace current coach Raffaele Palladino, should he be dismissed.

Reports indicate that Sarri’s relationship with the Lazio board has deteriorated, which could lead him to leave the club at the end of the current season. Sarri has been at the helm of Lazio since the summer of 2025 and has managed the team in 41 matches, achieving 16 wins, 13 draws, and 12 defeats.

The dissatisfaction within the management is palpable as Lazio has missed all opportunities to qualify for European competition next season, marking a significant setback for the club. Although Sarri’s contract runs until the summer of 2027, it is possible that he may exit before the term concludes.
