Mainoo explained that the lack of regular playing time led him to contemplate various career paths. He stated, “When you’re not playing many matches or not playing at all, you start thinking about all possible scenarios.” This uncertainty prompted introspection regarding his future at the club.
“At the forefront of my mind has always been the desire to play for Manchester United and to keep playing for the club where I grew up,” Mainoo added, reaffirming his emotional bond with the Red Devils.
