Robert Lewandowski will leave Barcelona at the end of the season, the Spanish club announced Saturday.
The Poland striker, who turns 38 in August, was widely expected to be on the move with his contract expiring.
He has helped Barcelona win three Spanish league titles, including this campaign, and one Copa del Rey since joining from Bayern Munich in 2022.
Despite his impressive tally of 119 goals in 191 appearances for the club, Lewandowski lost his status as the undisputed first-choice striker for coach Hansi Flick this season.
Barcelona has two games left this season. It hosts Real Betis on Sunday and visits Valencia on May 23.
