Legendary Brazilian footballer Neymar has expressed confidence in securing a place in the final national squad for the upcoming World Cup. At 34 years old, this tournament is expected to be Neymar’s last opportunity to represent Brazil on the world stage.

In a recent flash interview, the Santos midfielder shared his thoughts when asked about his chances of being selected for the final squad. Neymar acknowledged that the ultimate decision rests with head coach Carlo Ancelotti but remains optimistic about his efforts to earn a spot.

“I can’t answer your question… Ancelotti will decide whether I deserve it or not.

I’ve worked hard for this. If I’m not called up, I’ll just be another fan cheering for Brazil at the World Cup,” Neymar stated.

Neymar was previously named in Brazil’s preliminary World Cup roster, although Ancelotti has yet to finalize the list of players who will travel to the tournament.
