Burkina Faso has announced the withdrawal of two players ahead of the upcoming FIFA international break in June. Nasser Djiga and Herve Koffi were initially selected for friendlies against Russia and Belarus on June 5 and 9, respectively, but will miss the matches due to injury, according to a statement from the Burkina Faso Football Federation.
In light of these absences, coach Amir Abdou has called up two replacements. Rachid Gnanou will step in for Nasser Djiga, while Farid Sofiane Ouedraogo will take the place of Herve Koffi Kouakou. The new additions are expected to join the squad in Ouagadougou as they prepare for the upcoming friendlies.
