Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva, whose contract is set to expire at the end of the season, has reportedly made a decision regarding his future club.
Details: Multiple sources indicate that the Portuguese midfielder has opted to join Atlético Madrid. The 31-year-old has long admired Spanish football, and the offer from the “Colchoneros” was compelling enough to warrant his decision.
Key to this move was Atlético head coach Diego Simeone, who played an instrumental role in persuading Silva to accept the deal. The contract with the Spanish giants is expected to run until the summer of 2028, with an option to extend for an additional year.
In the recent 2025/26 campaign, Silva made 52 appearances for Manchester City, netting three goals and providing five assists.
