Fans have expressed confusion over head coach Thomas Tuchel’s selections for the England national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup. Today, the official England national team account on social media platform X confirmed the final 26-man roster.

The announcement follows criticism from supporters regarding the absence of several key players. Despite the backlash, Tuchel has maintained his own vision for the squad, which has now been finalized.

The roster features three goalkeepers: Dean Henderson, Jordan Pickford, and James Trafford. The defensive lineup includes Dan Burn, Marc Guéhi, Reece James, Ezri Konsa, Tino Livramento, Nico O’Reilly, Jarell Quansah, Djed Spence, and John Stones.

In the midfield, the team will rely on Elliot Anderson, Jude Bellingham, Eberechi Eze, Jordan Henderson, Kobbie Mainoo, Declan Rice, and Morgan Rogers. The forward positions will be filled by Anthony Gordon, Harry Kane, Noni Madueke, Marcus Rashford, Bukayo Saka, Ivan Toney, and Ollie Watkins. England will compete in Group L alongside Croatia, Panama, and Ghana during the tournament.
