The Lions of Teranga have commenced their training in New Jersey as part of their preparations for the upcoming tournament. Sadio Mane and his teammates are currently honing their skills in the United States following two international friendlies, where they recorded one defeat and one draw against Team USA and Saudi Arabia, respectively. The team aims to finalize their preparations before facing France on June 16 in Group I.
Arriving in New Jersey on June 11, head coach Pape Thiaw and his players are focused on their training at Rutgers University, which serves as their base camp. The tournament is set to take place from June 11 to July 19 across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, triggering the team’s intensive practice regimen.
Pape Thiaw’s roster is now complete, with all players present except for Cherif Ndiaye, who is training individually. In Group I, Senegal will be up against France, Norway, and Iraq during the group stage.
