Real Madrid, now led by new head coach José Mourinho, is aiming to strengthen its defensive line during the summer transfer window, focusing specifically on players from Arsenal. Reports indicate that Mourinho’s side is particularly interested in defenders Riccardo Calafiori and Piero Hincapié.

Details: According to TEAMtalk, as reported by Spanish outlet El Debate, both Calafiori and Hincapié have been actively consulting with their agents regarding a potential transfer to the Santiago Bernabéu. These players, capable of playing both centrally and on the left side of defense, are looking to secure more playing time and are keen to join the renowned Spanish club.

The combined transfer value of the two Arsenal defenders is estimated to be between €50 and €60 million. However, Mourinho’s top priority remains Manchester City’s Joško Gvardiol, whose asking price is also around €60 million. The Real Madrid management is optimistic about attracting Gvardiol for Mourinho’s ambitious project. Should that deal not materialize, the club is prepared to pivot towards the Arsenal options.
