Ivory Coast is set to begin their World Cup campaign in the early hours of Monday, June 15, as they take their place in Group E. The Ivorian team returns to the World Cup after missing the last two editions.

The Elephants will face Ecuador in their opening match on June 14 at 11 PM GMT, to be held at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. This matchup marks a significant moment for the team as they aim to make an impact in the tournament.

Ahead of the match, Ivorian manager Emerse Fae expressed caution regarding their Ecuadorian opponents during a press conference. He emphasized the importance of concentration and highlighted his squad’s readiness.

“Everyone will be available for selection for tomorrow’s match. We’re expecting a very tight game. At this level of competition, the small details often make all the difference. We’ll need to stay focused from start to finish and seize the opportunities that come our way,” Fae noted.

Ivory Coast finds themselves in Group E alongside Ecuador, Germany, and Curaçao as they look to advance in the tournament.
