The Portuguese specialist returns to the dugout.
AC Milan is set to commence the new season under the leadership of a new manager. According to prominent journalist Fabrizio Romano via his social media account on X, the club’s management has reached an agreement with 41-year-old Portuguese coach Rúben Amorim.
Reports indicate that all contractual agreements have been finalized, allowing Amorim to sign a deal with Milan extending until 2028, with an option for an additional year. The formal announcement of his appointment is expected to occur soon after resolving minor details.
Amorim’s most recent coaching role was at Manchester United, where he departed in January 2023 due to unsatisfactory performance. He has previously managed Sporting, Braga, and Casa Pia, adding to his extensive coaching experience.
