Punishment has caught up with Spanish striker Rafa Mir. The Valencia court has delivered its final verdict in a case involving rape and grievous bodily harm against the 29-year-old player.
Details: According to DiarioAS, the court sentenced Rafa Mir to 8.5 years in prison—7 years for sexual assault and an additional 1.5 years for causing serious bodily injuries. The ruling took all aspects of the crime into account, and he is also required to pay his victim financial compensation totaling 64,000 euros.
The incident occurred in September 2024 at the Torre-en-Conil residential complex in Bétera, Valencia, as reported by the press service of the Superior Court of the Valencian Community.
