Adnan Beganovic has decided against taking over as the head coach of Golden Arrows, following the departure of Manqoba Mngqithi. The former TS Galaxy manager had been speculated to take the role in Kwa-Zulu Natal after Mngqithi left the club.
Mngqithi, along with his technical staff members Kagisho Dikgacoi and Musa Bilankulu, parted ways with Golden Arrows after the conclusion of the Betway Premiership season. Their exit was unexpected, and the team targeted Beganovic as a potential successor.
Beganovic gained recognition for leading TS Galaxy to an impressive Nedbank Cup run, culminating in a final appearance. However, he was dismissed just before the final match. Although Golden Arrows expressed interest in hiring him, sources indicate that negotiations fell through due to disagreements over personal terms.
As a result, both Golden Arrows and Beganovic are now back in the market; the club has yet to appoint a new head coach, while Beganovic remains without a team.
