The Kerala Cricket Association has launched its first Junior Club Championship. This event aims to discover young cricket talent and provide them with opportunities. Matches will be held in a three-day format, with three games scheduled for each weekend.

In the first week’s matches, Aithreya Cricket Club faced Thrippunithura Cricket Club, RSC SG Cricket School took on Vintage Cricket Club, while Sassakx Cricket Club went against Little Masters Cricket Club. In their match against Thrippunithura, Aithreya ended their innings at 366 runs for 9 wickets. A strong performance from opener Vishal George, who scored 147 runs, helped Aithreya. Benwin Kannaikal supported with 56 runs. For Thrippunithura, S Aryan and Bharat Krishnan each took two wickets.

In another match, RSC SG Cricket School batted first against Vintage Cricket Club but was all out for 140 runs. The standout bowler for Vintage was Naijin Pravilal, who took nine wickets in the innings. Only Advait Vijay, with 46 runs, made a notable contribution with the bat for RSC SG.

Sassakx Cricket Club was all out for 172 runs against Little Masters Cricket Club. The top scorer for Sassakx was all-rounder Devanarayan, who remained unbeaten at 51 runs while batting at number ten. K Aryan scored 30 runs, and Muhammad Rehan added 27. For Little Masters, Akshay Prashanth took four wickets, and S V Adithyan took two.
