Manchester United has seen several new arrivals in the past month, some familiar and others entirely new.

The most significant change has been the dismissal of Ruben Amorim along with his coaching staff, leading to Michael Carrick’s return to the club.

As caretaker manager, Carrick has introduced Steve Holland, Jonathan Woodgate, and Jonny Evans to his coaching team, with Travis Binnion moving up from the Under-21s.

Additionally, Adam Tomlinson has been appointed as the new communications manager for Manchester United.

Football Business Inside announced: “Adam Tomlinson has started a new role as Football Communications Manager at Manchester United.”

The announcement added: “He comes from Hibernian FC, where he was the Communications Director after working in various communications roles.”

“Earlier, he held media and content roles at Huddersfield Town FC.”

Tomlinson confirmed the news on LinkedIn, receiving support and congratulations for his new position.

Reports suggest he was set to join Manchester United back in November when he posted a farewell on LinkedIn, marking the end of his time at Hibernian.

Tomlinson said: “After four and a half years at Hibernian FC, I will be leaving the club in January.”

He expressed: “I have loved my time at Hibs and in Scotland, growing both personally and professionally.”

“I appreciate the relationships I’ve built with media professionals worldwide and the opportunity to work with talented colleagues in sports and business.”

“I want to thank Ian Gordon and the Gordon family for their trust and support. They deserve all the success that comes their way.”

“I’m proud of what I and the media team have accomplished over the last few years, winning the Scottish Football Writers’ Association Media Relations Award, transforming the club digitally, and having Hibs’ Communications & Content team recognized as one of the best in the UK.”

“Now, it’s time for a new challenge. I’m excited for the next chapter of my career and look forward to sharing more news soon.”

Now, Adam Tomlinson is already getting settled at Old Trafford.
