Alejandro Garnacho has had a challenging start at Chelsea following his high-profile transfer from Manchester United this summer. However, he made an impact during Chelsea’s 4-1 victory over Aston Villa in his latest Premier League match.

So far, Garnacho has mostly shone in cup competitions, with some Chelsea supporters already calling for his sale after just one season due to a lackluster performance in the league.

In the game against Villa, Garnacho demonstrated that he deserves more time on the field, showcasing potential as a promising playmaker.

While Joao Pedro was the standout player with a hat trick and an assist, Garnacho also had an impressive game, contributing a team-high six assists.

Garnacho displayed intelligent and efficient attacking play, drawing three fouls and performing well on the left wing. He also led the team with four tackles, playing as though he had something to prove.

Manager Liam Rosenior has shown strong support for Garnacho. If he maintains this intensity, there’s a good chance he can secure a spot in the starting lineup, particularly against teams where he can play more as a playmaker.

Against a strong Aston Villa team, Garnacho was near-perfect. While he may face tougher opponents than Matty Cash in the future, this performance can boost his confidence as he looks to build on it.
