In an interview with journalist Ismael Mahmoud, he denied any claims about talks with Liverpool, stating, “There are no negotiations with Liverpool for renewal of the contract at this stage,” according to Winwin.
The No.10’s contract runs until 2028. Since joining Anfield in 2023, he has become a key player, but has not received a contract renewal yet.
