Mohamed Salah’s performance this season has not met Liverpool fans’ expectations.

Arne Slot even left him out of several Premier League matches, hoping it would help him regain his form.

After the 3-3 draw with Leeds United, Salah expressed his frustrations before heading off to the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), spending a month away from club responsibilities.

Since his return, he has struggled to find his rhythm. Despite being reinstated in the starting lineup, he has not provided much evidence to support that choice.

Concerns are growing among Liverpool supporters regarding his decline in pace, highlighted by his current stats of six goals and six assists in 25 appearances this season. In comparison, last season he scored 34 goals and made 23 assists in 52 matches.
