Amad Diallo made it clear when naming the Manchester United icon he admires most. Manchester United shared a clip of Amad discussing his football inspirations on YouTube.
“At United, the player I really like was Rooney. When they ask me which player would you love to play with from United history, I say Rooney because he is the player I really, really love,” Diallo said.
Wayne Rooney is United’s all-time leading goalscorer and was a key player during one of the club’s most successful periods under Sir Alex Ferguson.
