Amad Diallo has discussed how players like Casemiro have helped him grow since joining Manchester United.

Casemiro is likely to leave the club after the 2025-26 season, as Manchester United has opted not to extend his contract.

The 33-year-old Brazilian had a strong performance during the 2024-25 Premier League season while under manager Ruben Amorim.

Playing alongside Bruno Fernandes in midfield, Casemiro was key to Amorim’s setup that season.

After Amorim was let go, Michael Carrick took over as interim manager, and Casemiro continues to play a vital role under the new coaching staff.

Amad Diallo has often highlighted the influence of Bruno Fernandes since he joined Manchester United, both on and off the field.

However, when asked about other impactful players, the 23-year-old winger mentioned several names who have also made a difference.

He immediately recognized Casemiro, and also noted Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez.

“Besides Bruno, everyone is very important to me,” he said on Manchester United’s Inside Carrington podcast.

“I learn daily from experienced players like Casemiro. He has won everything at Real Madrid, so having him in the locker room is essential.”

“Lisandro, who has also won the World Cup, and Harry Maguire, who, despite not being captain, is still a significant leader.”

In addition to Maguire, Martinez, Fernandes, and Casemiro, Amad also acknowledged Tom Heaton as a valuable presence in the squad.

“Tom is an incredible player and person,” he added.

“He communicates with everyone and gives advice to young players. Having people like him in the dressing room is crucial because they emphasize humility.”

“Even when we perform well, they remind us to stay grounded and take things step-by-step.”

The Red Devils are currently in fourth place in the Premier League and will play against Everton on February 23 at Goodison Park.
