After a break of nearly two years, Barcelona will return to their legendary Camp Nou stadium. They are set to play against Athletic Club in a La Liga match on November 22, 2025.
Barcelona City Council has approved an increase in the stadium’s capacity, allowing 45,401 spectators. The renovated stadium will hold between 99,354 and 105,000 fans, marking a significant upgrade for the club’s home ground.
Due to construction work at Camp Nou, Barcelona had to play in smaller venues for the entire 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons. The return to Camp Nou follows extensive planning for improved safety measures, including more entry points and exit routes.
This month, the first team held a training session at the stadium, accommodating around 23,000 fans.
