London: Chelsea drew 2-2 against Brentford in an exciting Premier League match. Brentford took the lead in the 35th minute with a goal from Kevin Schade. He intercepted a long ball from Jordan Henderson and got past Chelsea goalkeeper Sanchez to score.
Despite dominating possession, Chelsea could not score in the first half and went into halftime trailing 1-0. They made changes at the start of the second half, boosting their attack. Cole Palmer, returning from injury, equalized in the 61st minute, converting a header flick from Pedro into the net with a first-time half volley.
After the equalizer, Chelsea intensified their pressure. A corner from Fernandes hit the post, while Brentford’s Pinok made a significant defensive play. The winning goal came in the 85th minute when sub Garnacho set up Chelsea midfielder Moisés Caicedo, who scored with a superb shot into the bottom right corner of the Brentford goal.
In the 95th minute, Brentford equalized with a long throw from Fabio Carvalho. This marks Chelsea’s second draw of the season.
