Bryan Mbeumo has been Manchester United’s standout signing for this season’s attack.

To prepare for the 2025/26 season, United brought in Matheus Cunha, Benjamin Sesko, and Mbeumo, and the changes are starting to show.

The Cameroon international has scored nine goals and provided one assist in 20 Premier League matches this season, along with a goal in the Carabao Cup loss to Grimsby Town.

His latest goal came today against Tottenham Hotspur, where he scored from a well-executed corner kick.

Although United won the match 2-0, marking their fourth straight victory under Michael Carrick, there is some concern.

A video posted on X, previously known as Twitter, by @UtdKev08 showed Mbeumo leaving Old Trafford limping.

The 26-year-old was seen carrying his bag and limping through security while surrounded by four others.

United’s fans and staff will be hoping the injury isn’t serious, as they need Mbeumo available for their next game against West Ham United on Tuesday.

Mbeumo has already missed five Premier League matches and an FA Cup game against Brighton due to the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.

Since returning, he has stepped up as the main striker in place of Sesko, showing solid form under Carrick.

Now, everyone will be waiting for updates from the United camp on his condition, hoping it is just a minor issue.
