Celtic is reportedly interested in signing Aleksander Bobek, a Polish goalkeeper, according to Scottish transfer expert Mark Hendry, as mentioned in The Herald. Bobek will become a free agent this summer, and the Hoops have been closely scouting him recently, potentially making a move before the transfer deadline on Monday.

The 21-year-old began his career at ŁKS Lodz, where he progressed through the academy and played for the reserves. He was later promoted to the first team, making 89 appearances in various competitions. Despite his team’s mid-table position in the second division, Bobek has stood out thanks to his strong shot-stopping ability and focus.

Bobek has also represented Poland at different youth levels. So far in the current league season, he has conceded 17 goals and achieved five clean sheets in 14 games, based on stats from Transfermarket. Given his age and limited experience, these numbers are quite impressive, making it important for Celtic to secure his signing soon.
