CF Montreal has dismissed head coach Marco Donadel as of Sunday morning.

Philippe Eullaffroy will take over as interim head coach for CF Montreal (1-6-0, three points), following a 2-1 loss to the Philadelphia Union on Saturday. The team is currently second-to-last in the Eastern Conference.

This marked the Union’s first win of the season.

According to CF Montreal, assistant coaches Jacopo Falanga and Lorenzo Pinzauti have also left the club.

Donadel was named the permanent head coach on October 21.

At 42, Donadel stepped in as interim coach on March 24, 2025, after Montreal parted ways with Laurent Courtois due to a 0-4-1 start to that season.

Donadel, originally from Italy, played four seasons with Montreal from 2015 to 2018 before returning as an assistant coach on December 29, 2024.
