Tottenham Hotspur had a quiet transfer deadline day.
During the January transfer window, Spurs made a few moves, bringing in Conor Gallagher and Souza on permanent deals, while several young players were sent out on loan. Kota Takai, Damola Ajayi, Jamie Donley, and Yang Min-hyeok will play elsewhere for the rest of the season. Brennan Johnson has also joined Crystal Palace for £35 million.
On transfer deadline day, Tottenham completed two loan deals late in the window, one of which was a move to take young Hearts striker James Wilson, beating rivals Arsenal to it by offering a loan with an option to buy to the Scottish club. Academy players George Abbott and Alfie Dorrington were loaned to Mansfield Town and Salford City, respectively, for the remainder of the campaign.
This means Tottenham was unable to add any new players to Thomas Frank’s squad on deadline day.
