Darwin Nunez has faced challenges since joining Al-Hilal from Liverpool last summer.
While a transfer was anticipated, Nunez likely expected a better scenario after leaving Liverpool.
Despite starting 14 of 20 league matches and scoring six goals, he has grown frustrated with his position.
The situation has become concerning, especially following recent moves by Al-Hilal that indicate emerging issues.

Recently, Al-Hilal made a surprising decision by omitting Nunez from their domestic squad.
According to Saudi newspaper Al-Youm (as reported by YS Scores), the management has taken him off the local roster.
He remains eligible for the AFC Champions League, but this move signals he may not be part of their long-term plans.
Nunez nearly returned to Europe in January, receiving significant interest from Turkey. At that time, he opted for what seemed like a stable situation at Al-Hilal, though that stability appears to have dwindled.
Impact of Karim Benzema’s Arrival on Nunez’s Future
In January, Karim Benzema, a Real Madrid legend, transferred from Al-Ittihad to Al-Hilal.
Benzema’s reputation is substantial, and he is unlikely to be at the club just for the sake of it. The club’s recent actions suggest that Nunez could be departing.
However, this does not mark the end of his career as a top player. There remains plenty of potential in him.
While he might not join a club like Liverpool again, it is possible that we have not yet seen the best of Nunez.
