Sir David Beckham, a legendary figure in football, has recently received a knighthood. He had an impressive career with teams like Manchester United, Real Madrid, PSG, LA Galaxy, and AC Milan.
After retiring, Beckham, who played 839 matches and scored 144 goals, shifted his focus to club ownership. His contract with LA Galaxy allowed him to buy a US soccer team at a discounted rate, which led to him acquiring Inter Miami in 2018.
Now, following Inter Miami’s triumph in the MLS Cup, Beckham has signed a new agreement with Fanatics, a trading card company that specializes in sports memorabilia.
This deal will introduce trading cards, memorabilia, and opportunities to meet Beckham for fans. Previously with Panini, Beckham’s transition to Fanatics places him alongside other star players like Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane.
Beckham’s first trading card will be part of the 2026 Topps Premier League Chrome set, available starting today.
This release marks the return of Premier League-themed cards since 2019, generating excitement among fans. David Leiner, president of Fanatics Collectibles’ trading cards, stated, “We see potential for growth in soccer collectibles, and Beckham is crucial to that.”
He also noted the high demand for Beckham’s autograph, mentioning, “David’s signature is harder to find due to his careful management of his image throughout his career.”
Leiner added, “The 2026 Premier League Chrome set is our first since we became the license holder again, featuring great rookies and legends like Beckham.”
