Manchester United has many skilled players, with several aiming to return to the England national team.

Kobbie Mainoo, Luke Shaw, and Harry Maguire have previously played for the national team but have lost their positions in recent years.

Mainoo’s decline in the national team was due to Ruben Amorim, who has reduced his playing time at Old Trafford, leaving him with fewer opportunities.

However, Thomas Tuchel is reportedly considering all three players for a chance to return to the team.

On the women’s side, coach Marc Skinner has three regulars: Maya Le Tissier, Ella Toone, and Jess Park.

A new addition has been announced for the England Under-23s team.

The Lionesses revealed their squad for upcoming matches against France and the Netherlands on their official website.

Included in this squad is Manchester United defender Jess Simpson, who is currently on loan at Southampton.

Simpson joined Manchester United from Burnley’s youth setup and has had several loan spells to gain experience.

Prior to Southampton, she had two loan experiences with Bristol City.

This summer, the 20-year-old left-back moved to Southampton on a year-long loan as they look to strengthen their defense.

She will now join the England team for their match against France at Clairefontaine on Monday, March 2 (12pm GMT).

The Lionesses will then return to Croud Meadow Stadium in Shrewsbury on Friday, March 6 (7pm GMT).

Jess Simpson is not the only Manchester United connection in this squad; goalkeeper Khiara Keating also has ties to the club.

Keating spent five years at the Manchester United academy before transferring to rival Manchester City at age 11.
