Former Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen has officially agreed to join Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg. The 33-year-old Danish player was a free agent after leaving Manchester United at the end of last season and has accepted Wolfsburg’s offer.
Eriksen has arrived in Germany for medical examinations, suggesting that the deal is close to completion. His transition to the new environment is expected to be smoother, thanks to the strong presence of five other Danish players at the club.
With over 300 Premier League appearances and extensive international experience with Denmark, Eriksen will offer valuable leadership and skills to Wolfsburg.
