Everton has a lot of young talent, but not all players have remained with the club. Some have gone out on loan.

One player who hasn’t gone on loan is Harrison Armstrong. He is becoming an important player for Everton’s first team.

Armstrong chose to stay with the club despite interest from Preston North End, as Moyes felt he’d be better off on Merseyside.

However, not all young players at Goodison Park have had the same experience; some have left to find more regular playing time.

Moyes has not focused much on using academy players since his return, and it’s unclear if that will change soon.

If it does, there is already a young player making a strong case, having scored immediately after his transfer.
