Manchester United is set to look for attacking options, including Yan Diomande, in the upcoming transfer window as they plan for the next stage of their team rebuild.

While Matheus Cunha has recently played on the left side, Michael Carrick mentioned in a press conference that the club is focusing on the left-wing position, with scouts evaluating various players across Europe.

One player frequently mentioned is Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig.

Renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano provided an update on United’s interest in the player.

In his YouTube update, Romano noted that Manchester United scouts attended RB Leipzig’s latest Bundesliga match against Augsburg.

Diomande scored during their 2-1 victory.

The presence of United scouts indicates that the club is gathering information on the winger as part of their summer plans.

Previously, United had shown interest in Antoine Semenyo for the left-wing position, but this option ended when Manchester City signed the Bournemouth forward in January.

As a result, United’s scouting efforts have expanded to include new possibilities.

Yan Diomande, who plays alongside Amad Diallo for the Ivory Coast national team, has gained attention for his strong performances in Germany.

However, any potential transfer would likely require a substantial financial investment.

Reports suggest RB Leipzig values Diomande at around £87.3 million, reflecting his potential and rising reputation in the Bundesliga.

At this stage, United’s interest seems to be mainly in the scouting phase, but Romano’s update shows that they are keeping an eye on the player as they prepare for the summer transfer window.
