FC Dallas achieved a 4-0 victory over D.C. United in an MLS match on Saturday in Washington, with goals from four different players.

Logan Farrington and Patrickson Delgado scored in the first half, while Osaze Urhoghide and Petar Musa added goals in the second half for Dallas.

Goalkeeper Michael Collodi made three saves, all in the first half, helping Dallas (3-1-2, 11 points) climb in the Western Conference standings.

This marks Collodi’s second clean sheet of the season. He had faced challenges prior to this match, entering with nine goals conceded and just ten saves.

FC Dallas showcased their offensive depth, with goals and assists coming from six players. This performance was notable against a D.C. United team that had previously conceded only four goals, the second fewest in the Eastern Conference.

In their last three matches, Dallas has scored 11 goals, posting a record of 2-0-1.

D.C. United (2-3-1, 7 points) continued to struggle offensively, going scoreless for the second match in a row and totaling only four goals this season, tying for the least in the Eastern Conference.

Sean Johnson recorded three saves for D.C., which has managed only one win in their last 14 home games.

Dallas took an early lead when Romario Luiz Da Silva capitalized on a mistake from D.C., delivering a pass to Farrington near the left side of the box.

Farrington skillfully scored from a left-footed shot in the 16th minute, marking his fourth goal of the season.

Dallas doubled their lead just before halftime when D.C. defender Lucas Bartlett received a yellow card. Patrickson Delgado took the resulting free kick from outside the box, scoring in injury time, his first of the season.

In the 78th minute, Joaquin Vallente assisted Urhoghide, who headed the ball into the net after a cross from the left side.

Musa added another goal in stoppage time, shooting into an open goal following a rebound.

Collodi’s standout moment came in the 41st minute when he tipped a header from Bartlett over the crossbar.
