The Chicago Fire has obtained two international roster slots for 2026 from the Colorado Rapids.
In return, the Rapids will receive $600,000 in general allocation money for 2026 and an additional $250,000 in 2027.
Chicago will kick off the 2026 MLS season with an away match against the Houston Dynamo on February 21.
Similarly, Colorado will also start their season on the road, playing against the Seattle Sounders on February 22.
