Hansi Flick is not a new name to the footballing world
Hansi Flick is not a new name to the footballing world, who remember his sextuple win in Germany, know how destructive the manager is.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Under his command, Bayern Munich won 6 trophies in the 2019/20 season with an incredible scoring record.
Flick has his principles straight, play vertical football and score more goals than the opposition. Doesn’t matter if the opponent has scored 10 goals, his team will score 11 goals.
Manager who gets other Managers sacked
Hansi Flick claimed an extraordinary title of the “manager who gets other Managers sacked” as his team was so ruthless in their approach that they did not care and kept on attacking no matter the time on the field and the situation. This intense and aggressive approach saw Bayern concede many goals but they were always 2 steps and goals ahead of the opposition.
Bayern Munich were truly destructive under him but it all unfolded in the next season when players were not able to cope up with his intense fitness regimes and training. Soon first team players started getting injured and the team lost momentum.
The next season was not upto his standards but was still a success.
After completing the season he was called up to coach the German national team and he obliged as he quit the job as Bayern’s manager and started working for the Germany team.

This is where success got undone as he was not able to make it work in the national team scenario and was not able to penetrate teams as international football is different from club football. In International football, lower ranked teams often park the bus against good teams, taking the matter to penalties which can go either way.
Hansi Flick had mastered vertical football but had no answers to the ultra defensive approach of the national teams. Due to this fact they lost many games and soon he was sacked as German coach.
Barcelona appointed him in 2024
After this he took some time off from managing teams and was teamless till Barcelona appointed him in 2024 after the ‘Xavi’ fiasco.
He then soon turned the Barcelona team upside down as they adapted to Flick’s football and it has worked wonders for them.
In 2025, Barcelona remain the only team that haven’t beaten till now and the credits goes to the manager and the players.
His Barcelona career is still young but going great. Hansi only hopes that neither injuries don’t catch up to his team and nor he has to face teams that like to sit deep and defend.
