Bengaluru, January 15: India lost to Bangladesh in their second match of the 2026 SAFF Women’s Futsal Championship held at Huamark Indoor Stadium in Bangkok. The final score was 1-3 in favor of Bangladesh.
Bangladesh’s captain, Sabina Khatun, made a strong impact by scoring two goals in the 7th and 13th minutes. Sumaiya Matsuishi added the third goal in the 31st minute. In the closing moments of the match, Arya More managed to score a consolation goal for India in the 37th minute.
