Inter Milan has surged to the top of Serie A after Napoli’s unexpected loss to Bologna. On Sunday, Inter secured their position by defeating Lazio 2-0. Lautaro Martinez scored the opening goal in the third minute with a precise finish.

In the second half, Angelino Bony added a second goal, confirming Inter’s seventh victory of the season.

Defending champions Napoli faced a significant setback against Bologna. Thiago Motta’s team performed well, with Thijs Daling and John Lukumi each scoring two goals. Despite controlling the ball in the first half, Napoli struggled to find their rhythm and were unable to respond effectively. This loss has pushed Napoli down to fourth place in the standings, while Bologna now occupies fifth place, just one point behind.

In the second half, Sekki Celik scored the second goal, maintaining Roma’s strong performance under Gian Piero Gasperini. Goalkeeper Mile Svilar made crucial saves, helping keep Roma competitive in the title race.
