Jesse Lingard is reportedly set to move to Brazil as he searches for his next club.

The 33-year-old has had difficulty staying at one club since leaving Manchester United in 2022, when he transferred to Nottingham Forest on a free deal.

At Nottingham Forest, Lingard played 20 matches, scoring two goals and providing two assists before departing at the end of his contract.

After seven months without a club, he joined FC Seoul in South Korea, where he served as captain and scored 19 goals while assisting 10 times in 67 games.

However, Lingard found himself without a team again when his contract ended in January 2026.

Now, according to Brazilian media outlet Globo, Lingard is nearing a deal with Brazilian club Remo.

Discussions have reportedly been positive, and Lingard is expected to join the team for the upcoming season.

Remo currently competes in Brazil’s first division, although they have struggled in the past and have fallen to the third division.

Previously, there were indications Lingard might return to Europe, with Feyenoord, managed by Robin van Persie, showing interest.

There were also inquiries from Serie A and the Premier League, but it appears Lingard is choosing a move further afield instead of going back to Europe.
