Chelsea’s 24-year-old striker Joao Pedro has been impressive since Liam Rosenior became the team’s manager. Recent statistics from BBC Sport show that his shot-to-goal conversion rate is better than some of the biggest stars in football.

Pedro has turned 24.6 percent of his shots into goals, slightly ahead of Manchester City‘s Erling Haaland, who has a conversion rate of 22.5 percent. Last year’s European Golden Boot winner, Kylian Mbappe, is even further behind at 20.7 percent.

Harry Kane leads with a remarkable conversion rate of 31.3 percent and has scored 30 goals this season. Haaland has netted 22 times, while Mbappe has 23 goals despite dealing with injuries.

While Kane plays in a league that may make scoring easier, his conversion rate highlights his exceptional skill. Pedro’s rate is notable too. Although he has scored 14 goals, which is less than Haaland and Mbappe, his ability is evident.

Pedro’s role isn’t limited to being a traditional striker; Chelsea fans appreciate his hold-up play. His conversion rate underscores his finishing ability, and this young player shows promise in becoming a top striker for Chelsea.
