Kannur: The Kannur Warriors football team has left for Thiruvananthapuram for their first match of the second season of the Super League Kerala. They will face Thiruvananthapuram Kompan’s FC. The match is scheduled for October 5, Sunday, at 7:30 PM at the Chandrashekharan Nair Stadium. The team was seen off by the supporter group Red Mariners at the Kannur railway station. They departed on Friday and reached Thiruvananthapuram by night. The team will hold a training session in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday.
In the initial phase of the Super League Kerala, Kannur has two away matches. Their second match will be against Malappuram FC on October 12 at the Payyanad Stadium in Manjeri, Malappuram.
Vehicles Removed from Stadium
Kannur: Work is ongoing at the Kannur Municipal Jawaharlal Stadium, home of the Kannur Warriors football club in Super League Kerala. Vehicles that were parked inside the stadium have been moved. A total of 15 abandoned vehicles were removed using a crane. These vehicles were taken to the Chelor dumping yard of the municipality.
