Bayern Munich tightened their hold on the Bundesliga title with Joshua Kimmich’s late winner, giving them a dramatic 3-2 victory over Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker.

Bayern came back from behind to take the lead with Harry Kane scoring twice, but Daniel Svensson equalized for Dortmund.

Just four minutes after the equalizer, Kimmich struck a fantastic volley to secure the win, extending Bayern’s lead to 11 points atop the league.

The match began with both teams attacking, but it was Dortmund who scored first in the 26th minute with a header from Nico Schlotterbeck, following a free-kick from Svensson.

Bayern equalized nine minutes into the second half, thanks to Kane finding the bottom corner after a header from Serge Gnabry.

Bayern then had the chance to take the lead when Schlotterbeck fouled Josip Stanisic in the box. Kane converted the penalty, despite a strong effort from goalkeeper Gregor Kobel.

Drama unfolded late as Svensson leveled the game with a powerful volley from a cross by Marcel Sabitzer in the 83rd minute, but Bayern had the last word.
