Diego Maradona
Maradona, often compared to Pele, made headlines when he transferred to Barcelona for a record fee. Although his stint in La Liga was brief, he scored 22 goals for the club. He played a pivotal role in Argentina’s victory at the 1986 World Cup, famously scoring the “Goal of the Century” against England in the quarter-finals by dribbling through several defenders before scoring again.
