Spain’s national football team has withdrawn young player Lamine Yamal due to injury. This incident occurred on the team’s first training day, November 10. Yamal, who plays for Barcelona, underwent a radiofrequency treatment for pubic discomfort, which affects athletic performance, without prior notice to the medical staff of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF). Reports indicated later in the day that the player needs 7-10 days of rest.

RFEF expressed surprise and disappointment at the lack of prior notice. However, prioritizing the player’s health and well-being, Yamal was released from the current national team camp. As a result, he will miss Spain’s upcoming World Cup qualifying matches against Turkey and Georgia.
