Leyton Orient is working hard to avoid relegation, currently sitting just one point above the relegation zone in 18th place.
In League One, the bottom four teams will drop to League Two, with the safe spot currently held by 21st-place Burton Albion.
Only three points separate 23rd-place Northampton from 16th-place Blackpool, making the competition intense.
In a recent update, Leyton Orient announced that Manchester United midfielder Jack Moorhouse has returned to his parent club after his loan period ended.
Fortunately for Leyton Orient, they have already secured a new player, former Manchester United midfielder Dylan Levitt.
The club stated on their official website, “Leyton Orient is pleased to welcome midfielder Dylan Levitt from Scottish Premiership club Hibernian.”
The announcement added, “Levitt, 25, has signed a one-and-a-half-year deal, with an option for another year, becoming the O’s sixth signing of January 2026.”
“The creative midfielder has made 82 appearances in all competitions for Hibs, including games in the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League qualifying.”
After signing, Levitt said, “I’m excited to join the club. This is an important time for me, and I want to use my experience to help the team move up the league.”
“The season hasn’t gone well so far, but after talking with the manager and the staff, I believe the team can quickly improve and move away from the lower end.”
Levitt is a product of the Manchester United academy, having spent a decade there from 2009 to 2019.
He had loan spells with Charlton Athletic, NK Istra in Croatia, and Dundee United before Hibernian signed him permanently in 2022.
A year later, he made a permanent move to Hibernian, continuing his career in the Scottish Premiership.
