As the summer transfer window approaches, Chelsea is set to be active again under Todd Boehly and Clearlake, who invested nearly £300m last summer.
Despite the hefty spending, Chelsea recouped funds with significant sales. Noni Madueke moved to Arsenal for over £50m, while Christopher Nkunku joined Milan.
This summer, Chelsea aims to strengthen key positions. They are looking for a new goalkeeper, defensive reinforcements, and additional support in midfield. Emmanuel Emegha has been signed to provide depth in the forward line.
Jamie Gittens and Alejandro Garnacho have yet to make an impact at Stamford Bridge. If Geovany Quenda isn’t deemed ready, the club may pursue another winger. Changes are likely on the horizon.

Benoit Badiashile has fallen down the pecking order at Chelsea, even before Levi Colwill returns to full fitness or Mamadou Sarr and Aaron Anselmino get their chances in the starting lineup.
Currently, Badiashile ranks behind Wesley Fofana, Trevoh Chalobah, and Tosin Adarabioyo in Liam Rosenior’s plans. By summer, he may seek a new club.
According to Caught Offside, with Colwill, Sarr, Anselmino, and potential new signings all competing for spots, the £35m centre-back may struggle for significant playing time if he stays at Chelsea.
Three European clubs eyeing move for Benoit Badiashile
AC Milan is interested in signing another Chelsea player, adding to their list that already includes Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Nkunku, Christian Pulisic, and Fikayo Tomori. They are not alone in their interest.
The report also mentions that Juventus might consider a summer move if he becomes available. There are even indications that Roberto De Zerbi might want to bring the former Monaco defender back to France.
It is clear that securing a spot in the first team will be difficult for him. Rosenior prefers Chalobah and Fofana as his starting centre-backs, with Colwill still not fit.
Badiashile needs to assess his situation—there are too many players ahead of him, and staying at Chelsea likely means fewer playing minutes. A move this summer seems to be the best option for regular football at this point in his career.
