Lisandro Martinez shared his thoughts on watching Manchester United play under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ferguson is widely regarded as one of football’s greatest managers, leading Manchester United to great success during his tenure.
He guided the club to all 13 of their Premier League titles before retiring, marking the end of an outstanding career.
Ferguson’s arrival signified the start of a golden era, where United became the leading team in English football, setting benchmarks for others to follow.
Under his management, United achieved their historic treble in the 1998-99 season and won the Champions League again in the 2007-08 season.

Since Sir Alex Ferguson stepped down in 2013, Manchester United has struggled to reclaim its position in English football.
The club has not secured a Premier League title since the 2012-13 season and has faced a tough period of transition.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe aims to restore United’s status, particularly in competition with Liverpool and Manchester City, since Ineos became involved.
Lisandro Martinez spoke to TNT Sports about his admiration for United’s style of play during Ferguson’s era.
“This club, for me, is really, really special,” he told TNT Sports pundit Owen Hargreaves, according to Manchester United’s official website.
“I watched all the games in the [Sir] Alex Ferguson era and wow, it was like history.”

Since Ferguson’s retirement, United has won some trophies, but they have yet to secure another league title.
Martinez hopes to contribute to changing that and believes Ferguson’s teams showed the importance of leaving a legacy.
“And football is, for me, about that too: put your name there [in the history books],” he added.
“I hope soon that we are in the same moment because I want to achieve big things here.”
“It’s really special and I hope soon that this club will go up again.”
The Red Devils are currently fourth in the Premier League and will play again on February 23 against Everton at Goodison Park.
