Jarell Quansah may be returning to Liverpool, as recent reports from Germany highlight increasing interest.
Bayer Leverkusen lost two important players to Liverpool last summer, Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong, but the move of Quansah to Leverkusen helped lessen the impact.
Quansah sought more game time and has been a key player for Leverkusen this season.
However, Liverpool’s management might rethink their decision to let him go and are considering bringing him back to Anfield.

Last summer, Liverpool’s decision to send Quansah away was based on the expectation that Marc Guehi would arrive as his replacement.
This plan did not succeed, as Guehi moved to Manchester City instead.
As the season progressed, it became evident that letting Quansah leave might have been a misstep.
TEAMtalk reports that Liverpool is seeking to rectify this decision, with scouts attending Leverkusen’s last four matches, where Quansah has impressed.
Leverkusen conceded only one goal in those games, and Quansah has scored three goals in 16 starts—drawing on lessons learned from Virgil van Dijk during his time at Liverpool.
Liverpool’s interest in him is growing, with discussions about him as a defensive option taking place more frequently within the club.
Liverpool’s Jarell Quansah buy-back clause not active until 2027
When Quansah moved to Germany, Liverpool included a £52 million buy-back clause in his contract, which won’t become active until next year.
Reports indicate that Leverkusen would not block a quick move if it occurs, though the deal might need more than just the agreed fee.
This move would also help meet homegrown quota requirements and add familiarity to a changing defense. However, Quansah may need convincing to return, having established a stable position at Leverkusen.
